Hi! My name is Sarah Lynn Green and I write YA novels.

As I child I fell in love with the works of famous kidlit authors like Judy Blume, R.L. Stine, Beverly Cleary, and Ann M. Martin. In my teenage years, I watched Clueless and The Breakfast Club thousands of times and I never missed an episode of Dawson's Creek.

Becoming a published author has been my dream since the moment I learned to write. When I was in elementary school, I would pen (and illustrate, but we won't get into that) my own Pretty in Pink-type novellas and beg my teenage babysitter to read them. In high school I wrote a series of melodramatic short stories that always ended with one of the lovers having to move away. Even though I'm only a kid-at-heart now, YA contemporary romance is still my favorite genre to read and to write.

A teacher by day and a writer by late-at-night, I live in the rural Midwest with my husband and two little tornadoes -- I mean, my two young sons. When I'm not dissecting Shakespeare with sophomores or analyzing rhetoric with seniors, I can be found reading to my boys, adding shows I'll never get to watch to my DVR playlist, and trying not to raid my kids' candy cabinet.
